HELLO THANK YOU FOR YOUR VISIT
Our training school has been running since 1996 but we actually began by training our own dogs in 1980 when we were first married. We have trained many dogs of different breeds for over 40 years and have gained a great deal of experience to help you train a happy well behaved family pet.
Our school is recommended by local vets, rescue centres, and the dog warden, we have many word of mouth and repeat pupils as we have trained a great many dogs over the past years.

Pat is a qualified member with the BRITISH INSTITUTE OF PROFESSIONAL DOG TRAINERS and gained GRADUATE with HONOURS and then ADVANCED GRADE which is the highest grade that they award.
The aim of our school is to offer regular, effective, expert training and advice to puppy, adult, and rescue dog owners, we run many different classes every week for this purpose.
The classes are friendly, affordable and easy to attend
RHYDYMWYN MEMORIAL INSTITUTE - MOLD
We use a reward based system of training at all levels and encourage the use of treats, praise, and toys all of which are provided free at class.
All our classes are aimed at a specific age of dog to initially teach the basics and then move on to bigger things, no harsh handling is ever used or taught and we don`t advocate the use of check chains.
YOU CAN ENQUIRE OR BOOK YOUR COURSE ONLINE THROUGH OUR CONTACT PAGE
We run regular courses so you don`t have to wait ages for the next course to start! this should allow you to join the class as soon as your puppy or dog is ready, but we advise you to book ahead with us on our contact page.
PUPPY SOCIALISATION CLASS - This class is for fully vaccinated puppies up to about 6 months old depending on the breed of dog.
INTERMEDIATE CLASS - This class is for dogs over 6 months old who have missed out on early training, rescue dogs who are making a fresh start with their new owners, and any dog with specific problems who need help.
CONTINUATION CLASS - This class is for dogs that have completed one of our courses and would like to continue training with us.
BEGINNER CLASS - This class is the next stage up from continuation and we will start some formal training.
ADVANCED TRAINING - For handlers and dogs who have enjoyed their training so far and made good progress. We have lots of dog and handler activities and hold a progress test twice a year.
COMPETITION CLASS - For anyone who wants to compete in Kennel Club Obedience shows. Training, advice and information to help you compete successfully at shows. We have a very successful group of competitors.
